Story Telling & Concert In The Alley

                                                   Sunday November 11th 2pm to 6pm

I have a little studio in the back alley in Little Portugal and I will be hosting a storytelling and live music event every so often and will start by featuring living legend, my friend and mentor Jim Heineman and The Jim Heineman Quartet, But there is a tasty twist to this event, We are going to surprise Jim, as a sports historian contacted me and will be coming that day to show him the original script to the revolutionary 1950 movie The Jackie Robinson Story which Jim's father was instrumental in producing! The movie as you may know, was the first movie with the subject of abandoning segregation in major league sports. Jim has no idea that this will be happening, the sports writer from the Toronto Star will also be there to interview Jim. Jim is not only a great musician but a great story teller and is looking forward to telling a story about his father, a self made man who worked with United Artists from its start. Hope to see you there. The seating is limited to 35 people so get your tickets early. Jim on Sax, flute and vocals, Sam Heineman on Keys, Mark Hundevad on drums, Lucya Almeida on percussion. $20 Entry fee.

You can save seating by sending me an e-transfer or calling me with a credit card number

The Vineland Thanksgiving ARTfest was started in 1992 as a Fundraiser for Vineland Public School, now known as Twenty Valley Public School. We are a juried show with no more than 130 exhibitors.  One third of our show consists of Fine Art, and the balance quality crafts. The Vineland Thanksgiving ARTfest has been very successful due to our high standards of quality.  Return of our regular exhibitors is approximately 80%. Vineland Thanksgiving ARTfest does NOT charge admission and exhibitors display and exhibit on the perimeter of the property only.  The grounds are an open and beautifully treed park-like setting.

Hours are from 10 am to 5 pm daily.
